You are all taking the first step in a great journey today. Don’t think about all the things (foods) you’ll be giving up, think about all you have to gain from this challenge. Whatever your goal is, weight loss, performance gains or just an all around healthier lifestyle. You’re making it happen. This isn’t a diet, it is a lifestyle, a way of thinking about food that will change everything you thought was right and good before. Sure there will be ups and downs along the way but you’ll also have a great support system behind you of 40 plus CrossFitters who are doing the challenge too and who will be there to help you through the rough patches.
We’ll try and post something for you everyday whether it’s an article, video, links to information or recipes. It’s important you support each other, share recipes, talk about how you’re feeling/coping and ask questions. Don’t forget to keep detailed notes on everything you’re eating and drinking in your journals, the more info the better.
So here’s to the start of something great! We’re looking forward to seeing all of your progress over the course of the challenge.
